A. We are adding new exclusive studios frequently, please keep checking the studio locator on the website.
Q. Do I have to go to an exclusive Private Issue studio for a consultation?
A. Yes, only specially certified Private Issue studios may sell the Private Issue exclusive collection. They will evaluate your hair loss and recommend the proper solution for your style and lifestyle. They will do a cut-in to fit your facial features, and they will teach you how to care for the system.
Q. I requested a catalog a couple weeks ago and have not received it yet, when might I expect it?
A. We are constantly sending out catalogs. If you have not received your catalog in two weeks, you can email again, download a catalog off the web site, or call the closest exclusive Private Issue studio and they can mail one to you.
Q. Why do you only sell your products at exclusive Private Issue studios?
A. We sell them to qualified studios who have undergone our certification training program. We wanted to make sure that women get the one on one attention and support that’s needed when dealing with hair loss issues.

Q. What makes Private Issue different from other products on the Market?

Q. How long will the consultation take?
A. Usually about 1 hour, sometimes shorter or longer, depending on the amount of questions you may have.
Q. Do I have to have my Private Issue system cut?
A. Yes, you will need to have it cut by the certified technician who has been specially trained on the Private Issue and who will professionally style and cut it for your facial features.
Q. How long will the cut-in take?
A. Normally about 1 hour. A lot of preparation work is done before the cut-in begins, the technician needs to prepare the fit and hair for your specific needs.
Q. Can I have my personal hairstylist fit and cut-in my Private Issue system?
A. Please understand that all certified Private Issue technicians working on the Private Issue collection must attend training to receive certification on how to fit the caps, and how to cut and handle the Cyberhair available on the Private Issue. We do not recommend having an uncertified technician work on your system.
Q. Can I order from the catalog and have my own stylist do the styling?
A. You cannot place an order from the catalog, you must go to a certified exclusive Private Issue studio listed on the website. They will do a consultation with you and recommend the best solution for your hair loss and lifestyle. They will then have one of the certified Private Issue technicians fit and style the system just for you.
Q. Do the Private Issue caps fit many different shapes of the head?
A. Yes they do, they are built to expand and contract to many different shapes.
CARE OF PRIVATE ISSUE SOLUITONS
Q. Do I have to use the C-Formula Hair Care Products?
A. Yes, you will want to use the specially blended hair care products for the Cyberhair that your system is made of. This will protect your investment.
Q. Do I have to use a special brush on my Private Issue system?
A. Yes, to protect your system and keep it looking its best at all times you should use the brush your stylist recommends.
Q. How long does a Private Issue system last?
A. This really depends on your life-style, how you care for your system, and which system you choose.
Q. Can I only buy the C-Formula hair care products from an exclusive Private Issue studio, or can I order them online?
A. You can purchase all the C-Formula hair care products from any certified exclusive Private Issue studio. Some studios will have this feature available on their web site for purchase of hair care products.

A. All of the styles are made with Cyberhair and have special caps, which allows air to flow through it, keeping you more comfortable when perspiring.
Q. How do I swim in a Private Issue system?
A. When you go in for your consultation, the certified technician will evaluate your hair loss and recommend the procedure you will follow for swimming.
Q. How does the cap stay on?
A. The system used for swimming can stay on many different ways depending on your hair loss situation, You will be given a recommendation for the best method by the certified technician once they evaluate your hair loss.
Q. When I am done swimming in my Private Issue system, do I blow dry the wig or can I let it air dry?
A. It is so easy because of Cyberhair, all you need to do is shake your head and finger comb your hair and it dries so fast there is no need for a blow dryer.
Q. Does chlorine in a pool or salt water affect the color of the Private Issue system?
A. No it will not, the system is made with our fabulous Cyberhair, which has color retention. However, you will want to always protect your hair, and your certified technician will explain the procedure for swimming. It is very simple.
Q. I am an active sports enthusiast and I perspire a lot. Will the Cyberhair last just as long even if I wash it often?
A. Yes it will, Cyberhair loves water and loves to be washed. It is also important to keep the base materials clean and conditioned at all times.
Q. Will the Cyberhair fade in the sun?
A. No it will not the Private Issue collection is made with our fabulous Cyberhair, which has color retention.

Q. How much do the Private Issue systems cost?
A. They vary in price depending on the system and the service needed to make the delivery. Please call to set up a consultation so the exclusive Private Issue studio can evaluate your hair loss and recommend the proper system and procedure needed specifically for you. At that time, they will quote you a price.
Q. Can I purchase a Private Issue system on the internet?
A. No, this collection is only available for delivery in an exclusive Private Issue studio that has been trained to cut and style your Private Issue system.
Q. Do I need to have two Private Issue systems?
A. You do not have to, but for security it is nice, like having an extra pair of glasses in case something should happen. Many women like to change their hairstyles, so they have multiple systems of different styles and colors. Additionally, for those women who are concerned about complete discretion, depending on the circumstance and your particular need, it helps having two systems that look exactly the same but serve different purposes.
Q. I want to purchase a Private Issue system for my friend and surprise her, how do I do it?
A. You can give her a gift certificate from one of the exclusive Private Issue studios listed on the website, or you can accompany her on her consultation with the certified technician. Remember, the system must be properly fitted to her head and cut-in to her facial features.

Q. Does Private Issue have systems for children?
A. Yes, the Haylee has been designed for kids. Most styles work for children and are available in children’s sizes. Some systems can be custom cut to a child’s style and facial features.
Q. I am not completely bald, and only need coverage for a small area on my head, is there a solution for that?
A. Yes, Private Issue has a system called the Enhancer.
Q. What if the color selection does not fill my needs for hair color?
A. The exclusive studio can create a special color system for you.
Q. Do you make systems with Textured hair?
A. Yes, there are styles available with textured Cyberhair.

Q. How can I keep my Private Issue system looking great?
A. Daily maintenance with C-Formula products that have been formulated especially for Cyberhair systems will help keep your system looking great. In addition, you should return to your exclusive Private Issue studio for a Professional Rejuvenation Treatment every 4 to 6 weeks.
Q. Can I change the overall color of the Cyberhair?
A. No Cyberhair cannot be colored. Cyberhair is designed to maintain it’s color throughout the life of the system.

Q. How do I become an exclusive Private Issue studio?
A. The hair related business or salon must contact International Hairgoods, Inc., at info@inthair.com, to discuss the qualifications for becoming a certified exclusive studio for Private Issue.
Q. Must I have a cosmetologist license to carry the line?
A. The business must have a hair related business license and will require a stylist who is licensed in the state the studio is located in, do the finish styling on the systems. (Some states require licensed stylists for hair replacement work and some do not.)
